Morley's Final Catalogue: Confined in England to the fens of Norfolk, Cambs and in plenty at Chippenham &c. so likely to occur with us. But known here only by a few that were captured in Tuddenham Fen about 1900 by the late E. G. J. Sparke (in coll. Morley and Bury/ Mus.).
Recent Suffolk Status: Scarce immigrant. Becoming more regular in recent years.
Life history: Single-brooded.
Identification: Unmistakeable.
Habitat: Mainly coastal sites in Suffolk. A species of Fens where resident.
